The Parato Conjecture

I'd defend the hypothesis that the biggest or most prevalent trouble with modern thinking across topics is that too many people believe that "All things are known through prophecy." Not everything that's known is known through prophecy, saying that it is, is a "closeish" self-expression, in the vein that Henry Ford's statement "Invention is one percent inspiration and ninety nine percent perspiration" is close, it's a slogan adopted by believers or by a diligent entrepreneur, and expresses the user's beliefs or intent in personal life more that it does describe reality in a practice way. The same may well be true of the Parato hypothesis, found in business and economics, but for a general rule of thumb it seems to function. Parato states that usually, twenty percent of the people do eighty percent of the work.
