The Psychiatrist is a Medical Quisling

Note, please that the primary psychiatrist or psychologist, including the sociologist, are the primary offenders in the "hospital rat" category. It's a fabled myth that the psychiatrist needs a real Medical Degree to get by, psychoanalysis in and of itself is defined by Sigmond Freud (which is "signal fraud" pronounced with a bad Swiss accent) in a book about dreams, a book about jokes, and a longwinded dig at civilization. A psychiatrist is a blasphemer posing as a philosopher, there's no such thing as needing to pass yourself off as a psychiatrist, all that is necessary is to acquire the knack for lying, mocking, drunken riotous living, and a lot of drug fueled porn engagement. Someone who outright pretended to be an actual M.D., and failed at too many settings of broken bones, or flubbed too many stitching's up and cauterizations of cuts and abrasions would soon be caught and prosecuted. Ninety nine percent of actual psychiatrists don't try to pretend to also be qualified surgeons, but if a qualified surgeon did engage in psychiatry, he'd be guilty of violation the Hippocratic Oath. Couched in terms of the legal profession, "psychology" is really just a way of padding the public health budget by oversimplifying doctor's office procedures, and producing large numbers of "techs" from new trade schools and repurposed closed high schools, and by bringing in quick-trained work first quest card hires, especially on the basis of immigrant status, minority race class, and brand new squalling brat ownership. Phlebotomists, nutritionists, and dispensing counter nurses are usually no more than certificate holders produced on nine month long one class night school rosters. This results in a pseudo-specialization industry, beginning in the bridge schools and experimental adult education programs. Psychology also has a glamour aspect to it, the world of dreams, made safe by the patina of status and authority accorded to both the Bible and to Ancient drama, as well as to Roman law and Greek mythology, shouldn't be brushed off. Those who intend to become full time practitioners begin in the classics section and the stereotype of philosophy clubs on cushy beanbags meditating over and rethinking Indian and far Eastern Ideas in relation to philosophy itself does have a real basis in reality. However, it's mostly a moneymaking side gig for the administrative wing of the hospital, and the fastest way in if you mean to find a job is cooking, gardening, and gymnasium sports.
