What I notice most about the Dewey Filing system and the alternative information books in the first few shelving systems is that if you look at the library's collection of UFO, cryptozoology, sasquatch etc., almost all of the titles are J (junior) or YA (young adult) books. Note that this is true in the nonfiction shelves, but not in the fiction shelves, which contains almost all adult level novels in the genera. In the electronically connected archives, including Kanopy, or in outside film sources, most notably private YouTube channels, the age level increases.
From a private outlet, it is apparently more acceptable to consider occult study both adult and suitable for serious study, also to present it as true, which is less common in the public library, where while it is noticeable and sometimes even prominent, it is almost always classified as speculative.
In terms of modern art, the usual serious presentation for over 18s on alternative spirituality is a moving still life. The still life of medieval antiquity for which you practiced in freshman art by drawing pictures of things that don't move was a practice class for picture in picture documentation, a copyright procedure for the finished artist, who would execute it by repainting a painting of his painting, in his studio with related and contained objects as shown in his picture. Motion picture adult lectures on the occult usually follow a format of picture in picture, displaying both engravings and color engravings from the medieval era, (and they are not the original works of the narrator) superimposed on an atmospheric drawing room scene, complete with burning candles, open windows showing the wind blowing across curtains, a growing breezy garden scene, or a similar still life in motion.
One reason for this being significant is the fact that within atheist debate, there is often a chapter on how "The Bible just isn't appropriate for children." Many atheists who claim scientific credentials and even have tenure in schools also claim that while the Bible is false, or that they couldn't pick out the plot if there is one, that God is behind all the wars and disasters in history. They then allege that the Bible is immoral, as well as being false, and claim that children shouldn't be exposed to it. This has more than one collateral consequence, first of all, being atheists, while they claim that God or religion is responsible for most if not all wars throughout history, they're still atheists. The definition of an atheist is someone who doesn't believe in God, so in order to stay atheists they have to prove that war has an alternative cause, other than God. That's why atheists are so often so deeply involved with and entrenched in the educational and school system.
Besides the atheist entrenchment in the schools, which many believe is a primary cause of lower standards or their perception that standards have been lowered, there is also the proliferation of cult meetings. I would like to note at this point that a cult is only a secret meeting for religious reasons. They may be well known as dangerous, but I don't want to give anyone the impression that they are exciting or even entertaining and invite salacious gossip.
