Stay away from self-appointed counselors who promote themselves as experts on lists of "issues". An "issue" is a copy of a dated periodical, especially of a daily city newspaper, and social workers have been using news reports as excuses to buttinsky since their alleged "profession" started. News archives such as the collection at the Seattle Public library are kept as a public service by the government with taxpayer funding and are useful to both historians and private citizens seeking a wider angle of perspective on major news stories that occurred on important dates in local history. The social busybodies in church counseling offices and in court sanctioned treatment offices use a news garnering procedure to decide activist policy and assign "issues", lifted out of contest and in violation of copyright use procedures from news organizations nationwide. The renamed and rebranded stories, lifted from the named journal which originally issued them, are then repackaged as "generic issues" and claimed to be common knowledge without the byline of the author or the Imprimus of the publisher. The news recycling process employed by psychologists and social workers, which they loosely term "your issues" is a bogus front for the manipulation of public perception regarding important stories from around the nation, and is a form of manipulative perspectivization which causes you not to know which news stories or titled issues you are "working with or being worked with on", and which fades the national canvass of important daily stories.
When dealing with a mealy-mouthed shrink, first and foremost bear in mind that under any washed-out name THOSE ARE NOT YOUR ISSUES!!!!! The issues have titles (the Newspapers headline for the date on the masthead is the title of its issue) as well as provenance (the provenance is the City and State location of the industrial press which first published the story your imbecilic minder is pretending that you need to work on without telling you what it is. It isn't your story and might not have even occurred in your state of residence, let alone your city.
