What Existentialism Means

The idea of the existential has a legitimate meaning. An extensor in geometry is the continuation of a line-of-sight vector to the horizon. In terms of an edifice, like a cathedral or the White House, it describes the relationship between the life sized or human sized doorway, or maybe the arch, or the vaulted roof and the horizon, a star at perpendicular apogee to the vaulted ceiling, or perhaps some regular astronomical event on the horizon, like sunrise. The extensors subtending to your brick-and-mortar building emanate from the global coordinates of your site, they are literal, and they exist (it's trigonometry) but they're not part of the concreate structure itself. They're inherent in the construction, and they depend on the house having been actually constructed for their existence. Actual existential thought, about an edifice that actually exists, is most often practiced by mystically oriented groups who look for an astronomical sundial in Stonehenge, or for stars directly above the points of the pyramids.
Of course, the mere fact that qn espionage occultist uses a word often n conversation or droning backroom lecture meets doesn't invalidate the word itself, any more than the incorrect, socially improper or out of context use of any word in any context changes, alters, or negates it's meaning. Occultists are fabulous interpolators of foreign and made-up words which they habitually insert into dialogs as buzzword/code words/catchphrases, or as ingroup passwords. The first indication that you're dealing with a real live occultist happens when the individual declares himself a linguist and begins to insert non-sequitur words into his grammar using them as undefined parts of speech. An occult practitioner can be spotted by his lack of good grammar, (it splits the infinitive), and his inability to process logic on the basis of correct word order.
